Race 1 – linacre health trophy race (3) - 1050 metres:  Nera Bettina was slow to begin.

Debbie Waymouth rider of Here’s Luck was fined $200 under the provisions of AR137A(5)(a)(i) and (ii) for using her whip in a forehand manner on fifteen occasions prior to the 100 metres, ten more times than is permissible and of those fifteen strikes fourteen of them were in consecutive strides, which is not permissible.

Anthony Boyd rider of  Nera Bettina was reprimanded under the provisions of AR137A(5)(a)(i) and (ii) in that he used his whip in a forehand manner on seven occasions prior to the 100 metre, two more than permissible and of those seven strikes, three of them were in consecutive strides, which is not permissible.

Race 2 – lyn amery memorial restricted trophy race (1) - 1200 metres:  Gottagetaboost was slow to begin.

Paul Koumis rider of Gottagetaboost was questioned regarding the use of his whip in the straight. As Stewards could not ascertain that there was direct contact being made, Stewards gave Paul Koumis the benefit of the doubt however notified him he must modify his action.

Race 3 – bq design custom made open handicap - 1200 metres:  Adam Body rider of Pure Dancer (2nd Placegetter) viewed the Stewards petrol film before deciding not to lodge an objection.  Correct weight was subsequently declared.

Pure Dancer was held up rounding the home turn.

Race 4 – ducon maiden handicap - 1050 metres:  Eyes Wide which was unruly on entering the mounting yard and was unable to be mounted was withdrawn by the order of the Stewards at 2.57pm with the following deductions; all monies bet for the win and/or place betting on Eyes Wide to be refunded.  All successful bets on horses prior to the time of withdrawal of Eyes Wide are subject to the following deductions in the dollar from the face value of the ticket. Win Bets, 6c, Place Bets, 7c; Winning Concession Bets, 6c.  All monies bet after the Stewards declaration of withdrawal to be paid at face value of ticket.

Mr C. Davies trainers of Sallyhernane (2nd Placegetter) viewed the photo finish prior to correct weight as well as Debbie Waymouth  rider of Emmenaitch (3rd Placegetter) viewing the Stewards petrol film before deciding not to lodge an objection.  Correct weight was subsequently declared.

Mr B. Akers trainer of the Eyes Wide was notified that the mare will have to trail to the Stewards satisfaction prior to racing again in regard to her pre race antics.

Over the concluding stages Emmenaitch had to be eased when tightened for room between Sallyhernane and Sensational Goss which both shifted ground.  Kane Harris was reprimanded, in regard to this incident, for allowing his mount to shift in over the concluding stages.

Debbie Waymouth rider of Emmenaitch was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR137A(5)(a)(i) for using the whip on 4 consecutive strides prior to the 100 metres.

Race 5 – Microchips trophy race (2) - 1600 metres:  Mr G. Thornell trainer of Volta De Pe (2nd Placegetter) viewed the photo finish prior to correct weight.

Agent Frost and Promotion were both slow to begin.

Race 6 – Jim’s test & tag open trophy race - 1600 metres:  Dover was slow to begin.

Cowdrey over-raced in the early stages.
