Race 1 – Continental Hotel Trophy Race (1)  HANDICAP- 1700 metres:  no report

Race 2 – Becon Constructions maiden handicap - 1000 metres:  As a result of Ivor Strategy (NZ)  competing at Balnarring the day prior (Sat 6th Dec) the mare underwent a veterinary examination upon arrival on course today and was passed fit to run.  When the gates opened Jan Bleu  (Shane McGovern) jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin, as was Ainsleigh's Girl (Leigh Taylor). Over the concluding stages of the race Ivor Strategy (Ben Wade) hung in under pressure. Routine swab sample was taken from the winner Ivor Strategy (NZ).

Race 3 – Laverton Cricket club Trophy race (1) handicap - 1000 metres:  Just Jordie (Shane McGovern) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out away from the inside runners and as a result was slow to begin. Just Jordie (Shane McGovern) when approaching the early stages of the straight, shifted in when being ridden along with the whip.

Race 4 - Becon Constructions open trophy race handicap – 1000 metres:  During the early and middle stages of the race Chloe Blue Eyes (Kane Harris) over raced and got its head up.

On return to scale Majestic Lion (Adam Bodey) was observed to have samll trickle of blood coming from the off side nostril. A verterinary examination was carried out on the gelding and it was found to have small laceration on the inside of that nostril which may have been sustained in the starting stalls as the gates opened.

Race 5 – isle of whight hotel open trophy race handicap - 1600 metres:  When the gates opened Blackbook (Kane Harris) knuckled at the start. Rounding the home turn Blackbook (Kane Harris) and Tate Modern (Adam Bodey) came together momentarily.

Over the final 75 metres of the race Multijet (NZ) riden by Leigh Taylor raced very tight on the inside of Leice Reason (Ben Wade). Stewards reprimanded Leigh Taylor for attempting to take a narrow run and advised him that in future circumstances there must be a full run before attempting such a run again.

Great Reason  (Alisa Vermay) raced wide without cover for the majority of the race. Prior to correct weight being declared the rider of Leica Reason, Ben Wade, wished to view the judge's photo print for third place. After viewing the judge's photo print rider Ben Wade agreed with the judges decision and correct weight was declared.

A swab sample was taken from the winner of the race, Just Kurrupt.

Race 6 - Becon Constructions maiden handicap – 1500 metres:  At the start Caratime (Kane Harris) jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and hampered Rebel Empire (Alisa Vermay).
