Race 1 – Breen Printing Maiden Handicap - 1000 metres: 

Mr J Fitzgerald was fined the sum of $100 for weighing in in excess of 2kg over his declared weight. In considering penalty Stewards took into account Mr J Fitzgerald’s record in this area. Mr J Fitzgerald was reminded of his obligations not to accept rides outside of his weight range.

The start of this race was delayed slightly when Eloquent Miss was re-saddled at the barriers.

Upon jumping away Money Order shifted in away from Forbidden.

Race 2 – Lockie Campbell Memorial Open Trophy - 1000 metres: 

As Mr J Fitzgerald was to be overweight, Stewards permitted the replacement of Mr S Stoll as the rider of Purple Zar.

Master Nelson was slow to begin.

Race 3 – RACV Healesville Country Club Cup - 1200 metres: 

As Mr J Fitzgerald was to be overweight, Stewards permitted the replacement of Ms C Whitehead as the rider of Duragal.

Mr L Taylor was fined the sum of $100 for being dually engaged to ride Kwun Tong Lad and Xaarsky.

Upon jumping away Ish was tightened for room and hampered between Uncle Ed and Fraardinia, which shifted in.

Race 4 – CMT4 Trophy 1 Race - 1650 metres: 

Acting on a confirmed telephone call from Ms L Anderson, trainer of Fenaughty Lad, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of Fenaughty Lad at 11:47am. Stewards accepted Ms L Andersons explaination and reminded her of her obligations to scratch her horses in accordance with the Rules of Racing, in future.

Catino Belle was momentarily held up for clear running near the 400m.

Race 5 – Nelson & Nancy Smith Memorial Handicap - 1650 metres: 

Approaching the winning post on the first occasion Wild Billy (Mr J Fitzgerald) shifted in hampering Waratah Pirate. After taking evidence from all parties Stewards took no action other than to remind Mr J Fitzgerald to exercise care in future when shifting ground.

Race 6 – U-Neek Bending Open Trophy  - 1650 metres:
