In arriving at penalty, Stewards took into account that this was J Londregan’s first offence in this area. Race 2 – ROBIN HOOD HOTEL TROPHY RACE(1) HANDICAP - 1200 metres: C. Kirkpatrick, rider of first placegetter Mousal, was reminded of his obligations regarding his use of the whip on that mare. Race 3 – HUNT HEATING OPEN TROPHY RACE HANDICAP - 1200 metres: Prior to correct weight, S McGovern, rider of third placegetter Like Thunder, viewed the photo finish before agreeing with the Judge’s decision. Rounding the home turn Like Thunder had to be eased off the heels of Gunnagetit when held up for clear running. Race 4 – CUTTING EDGE ELECTRICAL DROUIN CUP - 1775 metres: Blackbook knuckled on jumping away. Near the 500 metres Purge had to be eased when tightened for room by Kingston Classic (J Londregan) which shifted in before being straightened by its rider. J Londregan was reprimanded and notified that he must ensure he leaves sufficient room for runners to his inside at all times. Approaching the 200 metres Reddy For Kerry, when laying in, had to be eased off the heels of Kingston Classic which shifted out slightly. Race 5 – ROGER MANSON PANELS MAIDEN HANDICAP - 1600 metres: On jumping away On De Nile knuckled badly and lost considerable ground. On De Nile then attempted to jump the crossing after passing the 1400 metres. A veterinary examination of On De Nile which performed poorly revealed the mare was suffering from an irregular heartbeat. Trainer D Miller was notified that prior to racing again he must be in receipt of a veterinary certificate of fitness including the results on an ECG. On De Nile must also gallop over 1000 metres to the satisfaction of the Stewards. Race 6 – ROYAL HOTEL TROPHY RACE(2) HANDICAP - 1600 metres: Kwun Tong Lad knuckled on jumping away and lost ground.
