Race 1 – sw rowe chunky veterans open trophy race - 2000 metres: Trainer Luke Oliver was fined the sum of $30 for the use of the club colours.

King of Dendy was slow to begin.  Tahiti Gold(NZ) jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.

In the early and middle stages Cowdrey over-raced.

D Walker, rider of King of Dendy, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding in that near the 1600 metres she permitted her mount to shift out resulting in Tahiti Gold having to be checked.  D Walker was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire at midnight 11 January 2008, a period of two racemeetings. In arriving at penalty, Stewards took into consideration D Walker’s good riding record.

Race 2 – mitchell wickes trophy race (2) handicap - 1600 metres: Trainer Michael Quadara was fined the sum of $50 for the late notification of rider on Fenaughty Lad.

Kwun Tong Lad, which competed yesterday at Stony Creek, was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race.

After passing the 600 metres Eye Eye faltered resulting in the gelding’s rider D Waymouth becoming unbalanced. 

Eye Eye had a tendency to lay out rounding the home turn.

Race 3 – kelly gang cup open trophy race - 1600 metres: No report.

Race 4 – fitted for work maiden handicap - 1200 metres: The Jolly Swagman was slow to begin.

In the early stages of the race Jan Bleu over-raced.

Rounding the home turn Dolphin Bliss was held up when unable to improve its position. 

At the entrance of the straight ’s Grey shifted out and brushed Jan Bleu.

Race 5 – max elmer & bella plate open trophy race - 1200 metres: Our Desertcrossing jumped away awkwardly.

Our Desertcrossing had a tendency to lay in in the straight.

Race 6 – kings creek hotel trophy race (3) handicap - 1200 metres: On jumping away Just Jordie was hampered by Dame Melba which shifted out.

Craig Kirkpatrick was severely reprimanded for his use of the whip on a horse that was clearly winning.
