Race 1 – Place settings a team of chapions maiden handicap - 1000 metres:  On jumping away Seamstress shifted in and hampered flywheel onto Tangible Thomas.

Race 2 – happy b’day charris open trophy handicap  - 2350 metres:  No report

Race 3 – clare pitcher open trophy handicap  - 1650 metres:  Keysie girl jumped away awkwardly then was tightened for room by Tate Modern which shifted in and blue dress which shifted out.

Rounding the home turn Keysie girl was taken in by Blue Dress (P Koumis). P Koumis was reprimanded for shifting ground and notified to insure he is clear of other runners in future.

Captain Cosmic lay out under pressure in the straight.

Prior to correct weight Alec Manning trainer of Captain Cosmic fourth place getter which to view the photo finish, after viewing the photo Alec Manning was satisfied with the judges decision and correct weight was declared.

Race 4 – east malvern rsl trophy race (3) handicap - 1650 metres:  Hurricane Sal stood flat footed before jumping away, which resulted in the mare losing considerable ground.

Race 5 – tim whelan – what a legend trophy race (2) handicap - 1200 metres:  Passing the 600m Luskin Prince had to be eased when tightened for room by Pirate’s Maid who was taken in by Turning Yallah (Lisa Andrews). Lisa Andrews’s rider of the gelding was reprimanded and notified she must be clear of other runners before shifting ground in future.

Zedwood shifted in the straight under pressure, Sheeza Mess also shifted in under pressure.

In the straight Luskin Prince when improving had to be eased off the heels of Turning Yallah, and then changed course to obtain a clear run.

Race 6 – millsy’s last race dash for cash open trophy handicap - 1200 metres:  When asked for the reasons for Like thunder getting back in the early stages of the race Adam Bodey  rider of the gelding explained to the stewards that like thunder could not muster early pace and in his opinion was not suited by today’s firm track conditions.
