Race 1 – ALEXANDRA FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SHOP TROPHY RACE (2) HANDICAP - 1300 metres:  Carefully was slow to begin.

Passing the 100 metres, Carefully shifted in under pressure brushing Brownies Gold. Shortly after this incident, Brownies Gold was tightened for room when Noble Stranger shifted out slightly.

Race 2 – CON HELIOTIS MAIDEN HANDICAP - 1300 metres:  Prior to the race, stewards downgraded the track rating to Dead 4 at 1.50pm.

Skibo Sophie jumped sideways when the gates opened and, consequently, was slow to begin.

Our Lady of Jugah threw its head up when over-racing in the early stages and had to be eased off the heels of Trap Dancer approaching the 800 metres.

Rounding the home turn, Trap Dancer shifted out when laying out. Trap Dancer continued to shift ground in the straight when laying out, making contact with Barravore Lady near the 100 metres.

Race 3 – WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE DAY OPEN HANDICAP - 1300 metres:  Approaching the 100 metres, Tidal Spirit shifted in under pressure.

When questioned about his riding of Tidal Spirit from the 800 metres to the home turn, S. Wicks explained to stewards that in his opinion the gelding did not handle the softer going between the 800 and 400 metres and was also struck by some clods. Mr Wicks stated, as a result, he got slightly further out of his ground than intended. He added that Tidal Spirit responded to his riding once he balanced the gelding after passing the 400 metres.

Race 4 – STONELEA COUNTRY ESTATE ALEXANDRA CUP - 1950 metres:  No report.

Race 5 – THE COMMERCIAL HOTEL ALEXANDRA OPEN TROPHY HANDICAP - 1540 metres:  When the gates opened, Awakening began awkwardly, throwing its head in the air and losing considerable ground.

Race 6 – DAVID REED MAIDEN HANDICAP - 1540 metres:  Ivory Sands shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
