Vorenus Wins Yea Cup 2010
Despite being drawn out in barrier 10 and carrying 69.5kg, with the help of leading jockey Adam Bodey Vorenus powered home to win the 2010 Yea Cup.

Trainer Jim Conlan brought two horses to the meeting and took home the bacon with Vorenus and Christies who won the first race of the day.

The other highlight was leading jockey Adam Bodey riding his 50th winner for the season which was the first time he has done this over a picnic season. It did not stop with the 50th as he ended up riding four winners on the day.
