GUNNA GETS IT FOR KANE

After a frustrating five seconds from five rides last week at Balnarring for Kane Harris, yesterday provided a well earned result with two winners via Gunnagetit and Trojan of Troy. Both well fancied in the betting, Trojan of Troy swept around them on the turn to win with something in hand. The other win saw the return of the consistent Gunnagetit from a spell win in a close finish over the short priced favourite Jetera.

Other riding honours for the day went to Adam Bodey who also rode a double on Ish and Tordacity.

It was good to see the return of Paul Koumis this season after his stint in Dubai winning on the outsider Ta Ra Boomdiay. The final event went to the consistent Step It Up ridden by John Fitzgerald with the smart 6yo now having won three from three at the track.
